*Hot Listed Exclusive*: Shannen Doherty: No More 90210 in the Works For Me

Shannen Doherty + 90210 just might = dunzo.

Fans of the original 90210, like myself, were shocked when Doherty signed on to the spinoff series to reprise her role as Brenda Walsh. I, personally, couldn't bare to watch some revival when my heart will always and forever lie with the original. Okay, but that's another story.

Either way, Doherty's presence on the show--along with Jennie Garth's and Tori Spelling's--was what really seemed to draw a viewership to the show's 2.0 version. But according to the reformed Hollywood bad girl, the show's veterans are bidding adieu to their beloved zipcode.

"It’s enough," Doherty told me last night. "You can’t be supported by Brenda or Donna or Kelly anymore. You’ve really got to sort of fly on your own. I think that’s a good idea."

But...that doesn't mean Doherty wouldn't be willing to come back to the show if her fans begged and pleaded. "I did it last season for the fans as well," she said. "But, I’m totally respectful and understanding of the fact that the producers really want the new cast to take off the training wheels."

In fact, Doherty believes Jessica Stroup (who plays Silver) can carry the show on her own. "To me, Jessica Stroup is the breakout," Doherty said. "She is stunning. And she’s not traditionally your typical beautiful girl. And I like her personality. She’s super smart."

Do I sense a girl crush here? Aww...

Rainbow Br-eye-t

Eyeliner is a tricky thing. I love it because it really spruces up the eyes and applied eyeshadow, but at the same time, it can smudge easily and cause your eyes to water.

So, when I came across the new MAC Technakohl Eye-Liner last time I was at The Grove's Nordstrom, I was hesitant to purchase the eye-catching (pun intended, sure) colors this new line had to offer. I usually wear eyeliner on the lid of my eyes, but I always avoid underneath. In the case of these shades, however, they look so soft and light, so it's almost like you have to wear them underneath the eye to really make them stand out.

The MAC sales people obviously showed me their perfectly penciled eyes and told me that their eyes never water, yada yada yada, but again, these are the "sales people" talking. Either way, I couldn't resist trying a couple colors because I've been waiting anxiously for MAC to finally release multi-colored eyeliner shades. I ended up purchasing neon blue (Artistic License) and magenta (Full of Fuchsia), both $14.50. Since buying and trying, I have not let the shades out of my sight. Not only do they go on smoothly with no smudging or eye-tearing, they also really bring out my eyeshadow, but not too outrageously. I even wear the shades to work. They're great because if you have a lazy day and don't apply eyeshadow, these liners can spruce up your eyes in no time.

There are 15 different Technakohl shades, including 5 neon-ish ones, which are clearly my pick.

*Hot Listed Exclusive*: Are Kristin Cavallari & Audrina Patridge Finally Ready to Bury the Hatchet?

Kristin Cavallari may seem crazy and dramatic in those upcoming Hills previews, but believe it or not, she's actually also been trying to play peacemaker.

As we all know by now, Cavallari and Hills O.G. Audrina Patridge have butt heads ever since Cavs started filming with the cast and began to get cozy with Patridge's ex, Justin "Bobby" Brescia. But it sounds like Cavallari is finally ready to put the dramz aside.

"I know that Kristin just had a party in Malibu and she said that she invited Audrina, but Audrina didn’t come," fellow Hillster Holly Montag told me. "She extended the olive branch. She tried taking little baby steps, but I don’t know where it’s going to lead."

And while I'm not sure why Patridge didn't accept her frenemy's invitation, I have a pretty good idea why Cavallari wants to let bygones be bygones. "I think Kristin would rather not have any negative energy, and she wanted to bury the hatchet," Montag said.

Guess we'll just have to tune into The Hills to see how everything pans out!

*Hot Listed Exclusive*: AnnaLynne McCord Says No Thanks to Hugh Hefner

It's no secret that 90210's AnnaLynne McCord enjoys showing off her hot bod. Heck she doesn't even mind a skinny dip or two (see above). But the scantily clad starlet has her limits.

"AnnaLynne would definitely not pose for Playboy," the sexpot's sis Angel told me recently. "I know that she’s already said no about that one."

But the McCord clan doesn't knock the XXX-rated monthly entirely. "We love Playboy though," Angel said. "We really love it. But I’m going to speak on behalf of all of us and say that we probably won’t be posing in it."

We're going to have to commend A.L. for this one and say way to keep it classy!

A Storm...On the Rocks, Please

When I go to Oregon, I can usually depend on trying a never-before-tasted beer. Never, however, did I expect to discover the smoothest, freshest vodka. I've always been loyal to Grey Goose, but Rain Organics just might give the Goose a run for its money. I was hanging out with some pals at Rennie's, a local college bar on the University of Oregon's campus in Eugene. I don't do sugary sweet drinks, but I don't like bourbons or tequilas either. And rum is like a sedative, while beer goes straight to the tum-tum. So that leaves me with not many options. Basically, I just drink vodka-soda or extra dirty vodka martinis. But I felt like changing it up. So, the bartender suggested a Cucumber vodka cocktail. I thought that sounded amazing! And sure enough, it was! Rain vodka (which I hadn't heard of until this drink was made) makes this amazing cucumber lime vodka flavor, which is not only delish, but it's organic (I know many of you take great pleasure knowing that little tidbit). The line also makes some other light unique flavors, including Honey Mango Melon, Red Grape Hibiscus and Lavendar Lemonade.

RECOMMENDATION WITHIN A RECOMMENDATION:
Make sure you get a cucumber garnish to top off the drink. But also, make sure the servings are half flavored vodka and half regular. This vodka still does taste slightly sugary, so too much can be overload. Anyway, with that said, I'd say half a shot of cucumber lime vodka + half a shot of regular vodka + soda water + cucumber slice garnish = delight. Please try and let me know!

PRICE: $18.99

Unearthed Treasure

Anyone who works in Miracle Mile like myself knows that a high-class lunch is considered taking over the salad bar at Marie Callendars. No, I'm not kidding. We fellow Wilshire locals joke about this all the time. I mean, granted, we have Organics-to-Go (aka O-to-Go), but it kinda killed things for me when I ended up with rotten feta in my salad the day after I found a fly in my salad.

So, I've been living off of who knows what, until my good friend Angela Tafoya introduced me to Café Flourish. The tiny little vegan restaurant, which only opened this past May, has a cute, pebble-adorned floor, the service is super friendly, and they even serve cucumber water when you walk in--it's my fav! The health spot is a bit on the expensive side, and the portions are far from large, but the quality and taste is phenomenal. The recipes are unique and they make you feel healthy.

RECOMMENDATION WITHIN A RECOMMENDATION:
Hooray for Burritos 8.95
Chipotle refried black beans, long-grain brown rice, smolky salsa, “sour cream”, soy Monterey jack cheese & guacamole in a spelt tortilla. Served with chips & salsa.

Flourish Roll 4.95
Carrots, red bells, cucumber, cilantro, sunflower seeds, green onion, mint, peanuts & rice noodles snuggled in a leaf of red lettuce with a coconut tamarind sauce. Addictive.

Kiss & Makeup

I love TINte Cosmetics because it's cute, fun, sexy and feminine. My pal Christy sent me products from the line just for fun, and within two weeks, I was like, umm...I demand more! The glosses are all scented, but not with some cheap, tacky aroma that makes you feel like you're back in your childhood days in your local Sav-On's Wet 'N' Wild section. The line carries 1o different flavors/colors of gloss (Flavored Lip Shine). My favorite is Double Bubble ($17). It's so cute and pink, and perfectly complements any lipstick.

And don't even get me started on the Shimmering Face Pearls ($12). 100% obssessed. Because the line is so new to the mainstream, I've kind of made the Shimmering Face Pearls my signature makeup product. The pearls come in a little plastic tub, and they are all-natural powders of varying shades. They can be used for essentially anything (face, eyes, lips, you name it), but I started out using them on my cheeks, and have never used anything different on my cheeks since--nor have I used the pearls for anything else on my body. I recommend Sun Kissed. It's a beautiful shade of orange, and it really makes the cheeks pop. I've gotten compliments from celebrities on red carpets who have loved the way Sun Kissed adds so much to my entire ensemble. And assuming you don't spill your tub (I'm sure I'd own much more product if I hadn't spilt so many of the tubs--ugh), the pearls should last you a few months. They're a pretty concentrated formula, so applying a large amount at once isn't necessary.

Celeb fans: Pussycat Dolls (Jessica Sutta & Nicole Scherzinger pictured above), Kim Kardashian, Jessica Stroup, Shenae Grimes
Other ties to Hollywood: the line will be featured on the September 16th episode of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency on the Oxygen Network.

Faking It Never Felt More Fabulous

Do you know anyone who still uses tanning beds? Yeah, neither do I! I just slather on Fake Bake products, and it sure beats 20 minutes of sweating in a cancer-causing bed, or 24 hours of smelling like a spray tan.

I find Fake Bake, which only hit the U.S. at the very end of last year, to be inexpensive, easy/quick to apply, and something that produces streak-free, natural-looking bronzed skin. The self-tanning line even boasts a number of different forms of solution, including mousse, gel, lotion and spray. Believe me, I've tried the rest, and now I'm stickin' with the best!

RECOMMENDATION WITHIN A RECOMMENDATION:

For successful results, I suggest shaving/exfoliating, then using Fake Bake Passion Fruit Body polish ($12.00), followed by drying off and applying Fake Bake Oil-free moisturizer ($12.50). Next, place the blue gloves included in each FB spray kit on your hands while you take the Self-Tan Airbrush Spray ($29.99) and press the nozzle generously all over your body from head to toe (the included gloves are magical. They rub everything in just perfectly, so even if you over-apply, the solution will all blend in just right). And really, make sure you use the gloves. My friend Sydne failed to do so, and guess what her hands looked like? Use your imagination.

If you follow the instructions I've provided, your tan should set perfectly, make you at least 3 shades darker by the first application process, and should keep you with color for 7-10 days, depending on your lifestyle.
